Learn how we helped Ministry of Environment Develop an Environmental Mobile App To Combat Climate Change

Our founder Dennis Njue played a pivotal role in developing a groundbreaking mobile app for the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, along with the Kenya Forestry Research Institute, Meforest Initiative and other environmental stakeholders. The app initially known GreenPap, but now popularly known as JazaMiti was designed to promote and streamline tree planting activities across Kenya, features a unique tree-species-to-site-matching tool, allowing users to find the best species for their location. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive platform for tracking Kenya's forest cover, aiding in the country's environmental conservation efforts. Thanks to Dennis's leadership and technical expertise, the app was approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and has become a key tool for the Kenya National Committee of Forest Cover, promoting sustainable forestry practices and supporting national reforestation goals.
